Background
I am a researcher working at the Institute of Ophthalmology, helping to develop Eye2Gene: a deep-learning-based AI tool to aid in the diagnosis of inherited retinal diseases. More generally I am interested in various areas of deep learning and applying it within various contexts, and I have previously worked on projects using deep learning for video-game AI, identifying fuel-poor households, and applying deep reinforcement learning for simulating urban navigation.
